As part of the amazing artisans showcasing Lain American culture at the Latin Party in King George Square on July 29th, Onawa is a beautiful producer of Colombian artefacts and jewels.
The Embera Chami indigenous community of Colombia, whose name means "People of the Mountain," have a deep ancestral connection to jewellery-making. This concept of ancestral craftsmanship is deeply rooted in their cultural beliefs and is showcased in their unique designs, featuring indigenous patterns, contrasting colours, and symmetrical shapes. Onawa is proud to partner with this community to offer you amazing artefacts. Onawa showcases the colourful handmade jewellery inspired by the land and culture of Colombia made by indigenous people.
