DJ Chris Han
(Brisbane, Australia)
For over a decade, Chris, known in the tango community as DJ Han, has been sharing his passion for tango music with dancers across Brisbane and beyond. His skillful curation of music has delighted Tangueros from the Sydney, Byron Bay, Gold Coast, Sunshine Coast and Cairns.
Chris has also been a featured DJ at numerous of Australia’s beloved annual tango festivals, including Bundanoon (BASH), Byron Bay, Port Macquarie, Sunshine Coast, Maleny, and the Darwin Tango Marathon.
At the international level, he was a guest DJ at milongas in Seoul and Busan (South Korea), Bali (Indonesia), and Wellington, where he was part of the New Zealand Tango Festival. He was also honoured to be invited to DJ at the Bali Tango Camp & Fiesta in Seminyak.
Now, Chris is excited to bring his experience and love of tango music to the upcoming Moonlight Tango Festival, where he looks forward to creating unforgettable musical moments for dancers.
DJ Geff Kim Taehwan

DJ leading the energy and flow of tango Geff is an outstanding DJ who captures the passion and energy of tango music. Having made his first step as a DJ in 2016, Geff revealed his unique presence in the tango DJ field within a short time. Geff's in-depth musical sense, outstanding selection, and experience as an audio engineer have magically transformed the moment on stage and touched dancers and music lovers all over the world.
His talent was recognized as a finalist at Mundial in 2017. This achievement was a significant turning point in his DJ career and Geff has been constantly growing and moving to a wider arena since then.
His music style, which respects tango's traditions but does not lose its modern touch, always makes the audience dance and provides a new musical experience.

DJ Jose ArgañarásArgañarás
(Melbourne, Australia)
José grew up in Argentina listening to tango from his grandparents’ record player. He has been dancing tango for many years, and DJing at milongas organized by himself and friends in Bariloche, Patagonia. His love for tango is divided: he is both a dancer and a musician. He likes to combine these aspects when he can – he established and directed a tango sextet in Argentina and currently plays bandoneon with The Melbourne Tango Orchestra.
He has travelled extensively to “encuentros de tangueros” across Argentina to hear the new wave of contemporary tango orchestras reviving the live music tradition, and he loves to throw a few newer tandas in between all the classic orchestras. His personality as a DJ is energetic and at times dramatic, and prefers music that is fun and rich in details. His ultimate goal is to provide a great night for all and to see smiles at the end of the embrace.
DJ Karen Silva
(Melbourne, Australia)
Karen started her tango career in Bogota, Colombia in 2016. In 2018, she won the National professional salon Championship in Colombia followed by being a finalist in the Tango Mundial in Argentina in 2019.
She has also extensively studied Flamenco and has performed in numerous shows. During this time, Karen was teaching tango classes and performing in various well known tango companies in Colombia.
Karen migrated to Australia in 2022 to study and also begin work at Tango Esencia as a teacher and performer. During this time, Karen also began to formally DJ as she had been building her Tango collection for years.
Her deep understanding of the Orchestras history, the lyrics and the nuances in the music helps her in curating wonderful nights of music where she has been a DJ at all of the major milongas in Melbourne.
